Interview
The interview process was overall highly unprofessional. I spoke over phone with the hiring manager for half an hour about my experiences and credentials. One week later an HR approached and made me an verbal offer and asked me to reply in 48 hours. When I accept the offer, I made it very clear that I need a working visa and the HR said there should be no problem.
After I turned down another offer and accepted the offer from State Street, they took FOUR WEEKS to figure out that they are unwilling to help me on obtaining a visa. During that time, the incompetent HR was reluctant on providing any update information!
Overall, the hiring process was easily the most unpleasant one I had.
The HR team, hiring manager, and broader team were all excellent. They were respectful, professional, and asked thoughtful questions based on my prior experience. It was clear they have a strong understanding of the full fund accounting cycle. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

It was just one round following the HR call, and it went smoothly. The interview was conducted half in English and half in Chinese. I get the impression that the company favors candidates with overseas backgrounds.

Interview
There was two phone calls. Question were technical and very basic. Third interview was on sight with managers, and it was more challenging, but not hard. Nothing too difficult for someone who has studied economy or related field. Even for somebody from different background it shouldn't take a long time to prepare.
