I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at State Street (Boston, MA) in Sept 2009
Interview
Lots of interviews required for a high level position which is understandable. I was told that everyone really liked me, and would likely see an offer soon. Eventually the internal consesuss workings took over and an internal candidate was selected who wasn't even interviewing for the job. Why put people through this if the whole process can get blown up?
I applied online. I interviewed at State Street (Kraków) in Apr 2019
Interview
I women from state street called me and invited me to phone interview, which was the first stage of recruitment process. She told me that I can have interview tommorow to have some time to get prepared. Next day she called me on time and I had really polite interview. I had a problem, that some times I didnt understand her, so I asked few times to repeat the question.

I applied through university. I interviewed at State Street in Mar 2017
Interview
Was a pretty fun and fair interview. Phone screening with the recruiter, phone interview with hiring managers, and another interview at the office. Questions weren't fairly difficult, they mostly wanted to get to know you.
