Application
I applied online. I interviewed at SullivanCotter (Chicago, IL) in May 2015
Interview
The interview process took 3+ months. It was a series of redundant interviews where all the questions were the same. The last interview was in person at the Chicago office and took around 3 hours. Once again, ALL THE QUESTIONS WERE THE SAME. It is as if people at this company don't talk to each other. They said I would hear back from them soon, so after a few weeks passed I sent an email, waited another week, then got a response saying I did not get the job. This company does not respect your time so if you interview with them, be prepared for a long tedious interview process where you'll have to repeat yourself over and over again.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a time you had to solve an unexpected problem.
Received an email to interview 6 months AFTER I applied for the position. The recruiter did not confirm or follow up when I gave my availability. I was also asked to complete 3 assessments. Seems very disorganized, maybe I’ll hear back in another 6 months.
Slow and tedious. Job description had no relevance to role as explained by interviewers.
Took a long time between interviews on next steps. When assessments were asked for they didn’t seem to reflect the job content either.
Very lengthy. It took months. I interviewed at least four times with at least 10 people. Some in person and some remote interviews. I was finally offered the job when I informed them that I had another offer.
