      Email Chat Process Interview

      8 Feb 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Bengaluru
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Swiggy (Bengaluru) in Feb 2018

      Interview

4 rounds. Seemed unprofessional. Though I cleared the 1st two "rounds" I was unable to clear the 3rd round called the Versant test, which is an online test. I spoke well, did the written well but I was unable to clear Versant. I am in awe of the ones who cleared it but the concept did not make any sense. Inspite of the online test being almost the same as the written. One of the HR that conducted interview was not as well versed with the language and hence the whole purpose of her being there seemed vain. If the process is to gauge your english language have someone who is well versed with the language. Also get someone to interview the Candidates, who does not seem too bored to be there. Before the interview commences they mention that there is just 1 way transportation that will be provided and anyone staying beyond 21km radius cannot go ahead with the interview rounds. I mean make it known in your job postings about this condition, rather than having people travel to the office and then leave dejected. As it is jobs are difficult to come by and people who come with hope are dejected because of the callous attitude of the supposed HR. They also had something called walk-ins people must have read about the interview make a mention about your drop radius. It is disheartening not to get through but also having a software decide your language skills is utter nonsense. People with reference are taken into consideration which happened when I was there. Why so? The nonsensical split shift what nonsense is that? Are people are wooed in by talks of incentives? Yes money is good and we all need it, but a good organisation is the one that treats it's employees well and also practices work-life balance.
