I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at THE FALCONWOOD CORP (New York, NY) in Jun 2015
Interview
Interview was not traditional, and was more based on culture/personality fit for a small group within a larger organization. There were 2 rounds; one with the woman currently in the position, and the second was with the COO. Both interviews were very relaxed and conversational. I was warned the COO could be very "direct", but I found him to be honest without being off-putting. They were less concerned with experience/proficiency, and more concerned with finding someone who would be the right fit. My only complaint is that there was zero communication after the final round interview, even after checking-in over a week after the fact. I knew I didn't get the job, but a little confirmation would be nice.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked about my long-term plans, and desire to switch careers. I was coming from another industry and they wanted to gauge my commitment, and make sure I wouldn't get bored/dissatisfied and leave the job.
