The interview process at TIAA-CREF can be best summed up as uncoordinated, unprofessional, and one riddled with absurdities. Following a panel conversation lawn-chaired by complacent, incompetent interviewers, I was informed several days down the road by my recruiter that Company Policy, on the basis of a twenty-year-old infraction, would not permit an offer for employment to be extended. There was never any doubt as to whether I personified the ideal recruit - for my record of accomplishment and work history suggested that indeed I did.
