Telephone interview which was more of a casual chat about why you want to join the company etc. This quickly led onto an invite for a face to face interview. They messed up the times and said they'd email me with interview times and where to go etc as confirmation....I had to chase this up for days before they finally messaged me less than a day before the interview and expected me to come in. I denied due to work commitments and therefore was rescheduled. 1st impressions of the company were obviously not that great at this point. Alas, I turned up suited and booted on the rearranged date; they walked out casual and laid back and didn't really appreciate that I was there for a formal interview. They didn't ask me any questions about the job and began to ask me questions about my hobbies and what I do outside of work which I found quite weird.
After this stage, they adjourned the meeting and I went out the room for about 10 minutes, one of the guys came back and told me they'd like to invite me for a final interview with the directors.
So i came back for the final interview, again I was dressed in a suit and they strolled up dressed casual, again not a great impression. Couple of swear words here and there but it didn't really bothered me, it just came across as unprofessional and I personally wouldn't do that if I was an interviewer. They began asking me questions about my old job and why i wanted to leave etc. They then processed to ask some maths questions and asked me to not apologise or make up any excuses. So i did the questions they asked, not all was correct but I did what they asked; no excuses and no apology. She even praised me in the interview a couple of times as I'd done exactly what she'd asked. They wasn't bothered about me getting the questions right, they wanted me to answer how they requested.
Everything appeared to go well, we finished the interview and said they'd be in touch. 2 days later and email explaining I'd been unsuccessful. No feedback, nothing. When you've taken the time to do 3 interviews, not only this but I had to spend money on petrol and time off current job etc all of which to receive no feedback. I have since read up about the company and seen multiple bad reviews about them. I've heard back things about their interviews and about the job itself. They supposedly make their employees write good reviews about them hence the 2015 employer of the year award. I've read up about bullying and harassment within the workplace also.
Seems I dodged a bullet.
