First a group interview which included 3 small activities - a card memory exercise, a "sell this product" exercise where you had to find an object in the store and pitch it to interviewer and a basic interactive icebreaker. Then a few individual questions too.
It was a great interview session with the store manager. You just need to be confident in answering their questions. Don't be shy. A better communication skills would make you stands out than other candidates. Everything went smoothly, people seeking for part-time are welcome, and it requires more of a hands-on task, mostly in-store.

I applied online. I interviewed at TYPO (Christchurch, Canterbury) in Dec 2025
Interview
The interview was quite casual and was specifically for a holiday role. There were 18 of us in total. They divided us into small groups of four and we had to discuss and answer questions in pairs but they still made sure to listen to our individual perspectives.
