I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tata Consultancy Services
Interview
The recruitment process is of 3 rounds.
For the year 2018, they have changed the entire process for the exam.
Round1:
Round 1 is the National Qualifier Test, which consists of aptitude (General and Advanced), Verbal (Fill up the blanks) and a simple coding question (but here time is really a constraint as the compilation process takes nearly 30 seconds).
The results were sent through email.
Round2:
The round 2 is TR and MR, which was taken through a video call. They did not stress deep into any subject. Be thorough with your resume (It matters the most). They asked me about my Workshops.
Round 3:
Round 3 is HR, where he asked me about my workshop again, it was a stress testing interview where he tried to test my patience.
Got selected and the offer letter was sent after a week
After clearing the TCS National Qualifier Test (NQT), I attended a single interview round that combined technical and HR questions. The interviewer focused on my projects, programming knowledge, and understanding of current technologies. One of the main discussion topics was the difference between traditional software systems and AI-based systems. The interview was conversational, and the interviewer evaluated problem-solving ability, communication skills, and technical understanding. The overall experience was positive and the difficulty level was average.
