I was initially contacted by a TCS rep over LinkedIn who was interested in arranging a phone interview. During this interview, I talked with two people, one person asked me behavioral questions and the other asked me basic questions about HTML/CSS. I was given an offer after this one interview which I declined because of the poor salary and benefits offered. I was offered a $69,000 salary and the offer letter said that TCS, "reserves the right to revise its benefits offerings at any
time". Definitely nothing shady happening here.
Overall, I will say that the interview was very pleasant and the interviewers seemed like nice people. However, many of the HR reps which contacted me came across as very unprofessional. I say "many" because multiple different reps would constantly call or text me without prior notice asking if I was interested in arranging an interview or if I had filled out the required paperwork. These reps would even call/message me wanting to schedule an interview for the exact position I was already interviewing for. I understand that my phone number is public information on LinkedIn, but a courtesy message is all I'm asking for. That being said, my main handler, Joe Leos, was always courteous and respectful. In my opinion, if you need the work, TCS probably isn't the worst place to work at. But, the hiring process and compensation offered exposed a concerning amount of red flags, making this an easy pass for me.
