The situation I am gonna describe here doesn't belong to the f2f interview process exclusively rather it corresponds to the entire recruitment drive.
I got a call from some consultancy firm regarding a Job opportunity at Tech Mahindra for Business Analyst role. There Job description told Tech M is looking for BAs who is having both functional knowledge and experience in Finance as well as Business Analysis.

Question 1
Nothing was mentioned in the interview call letter about the selection process or total no of rounds to be conducted. Ironically we were not briefed about the same at the recruitment venue ie at Tech M office itself.

The initial phone call is just about developing and understanding if this is a good fit
The second round is more technical on you past skills and projects
3rd more behavioral questions about you and how you work
For The business analyst role they conduct the following rounds: Resume screening, Aptitude and technical assessment, technical interview, managerial round, HR interview they short list the candidates by checking communication skills, analytical skills, technical skills etc

How do you stay current with industry trends and developments ?
Intermediate questions were asked regarding domain topic. I joined as experience person so it's only one process. Smooth process of entering the company. Arcgis question geological files and other topic were covered in interview
