Had a phone interview scheduled for 130 today. So I thought. I found out at 9am that it needed to be rescheduled. Great start.
Phone interview was all we did. Job was posted for 75k-80k. When asked what my salary ask was, I said 80k. They indicated that they had applicants with 15 years experience who asked for that amount. I thought that was highly unprofessional, and irrelevant. The job posting seemed to indicate that amount was the offer for the experience listed in the job posting.
Interviewer was rude, and was asking for details that were on my resume, which I confirmed was in front of them.
I ended the call early. Jobs are easy to find right now. Don't work for a company with rude recruiters that don't have their effects in order.
