      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Teradata in Feb 2018

      Interview

Interview process was good. First round was written test. Most of the questions from Java and Hadoop. Second and Third rounds were technical. Most of the questions from Spark, Scala, Hadoop. If your basics are clear then you can answer them easily. Last round was managerial round where they asked about known technologies and salary expectations and all. Even after these rounds they said me you did not clear interview process. I asked reason but they did not tell. So overall interview process was good but I could not figure out reason for rejection.

      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Teradata in Jun 2017

      Interview

Terrible experience, I've never been treated this way, steer clear from this company: I had initial technical online test that I passed, I had second technical 90 min interview with online code that I passed, I had final interview with hiring manager and i recieved a proposal with draft offer via mail with salary and contract details! After few days I've been contacted asking if I was available to relocate to Rome and when I refused to relocate ( I applied for Milan) everything got stuck with terrbile and stupid excuses: In the beginning there was a "due diligence" and then seems Hadoop was mandatory. The whole process took 3 months and during this time all the people involved in all the phone calls and interviews repeated many times that Hadoop wasn't mandatory to be hired (also the job post stated this clearly) and that training were being provided. Last week the same position I was offered in Milan has been re-opened, with Hadoop not mandatory in the job description. I think they are mocking people.
