I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Teradici (Vancouver, BC) in Oct 2020
Interview
Interview process itself was very easy. It was fully remote (because of pandemic and because I'm in another Canadian province, not in the BC). They asked to provide refferences and write a code challenge. I asked to do code challange in a time when I'll be free in my current work.
They agreed, but anyway send me a task without confirmation that I have time. I had no time to do it for about a week. I asked to change a task to demostrate that I can do tasks quickly, but they declined, and said I have to do this task. So, I finished it, had a positive review in the video interview of my code and solutions, but than received a reject. I invested about 2 full days and a little bit more in this task, and a little bit dissapointed right now. Thank you for quick response, btw, because I have another job offer.
Probably they rejects me because it's HR mistake - HR send me a task without confirmation and they decided that I'm slow worker or something like this.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Interview questions was not so difficult, I even don't remember them. Code challange task was more interesting: write a cli program which deploys two ec2 instances, with different parameters and test network bandwith between them.
