I applied in-person. I interviewed at The Body Shop (London, England) in Jun 2015
Interview
I was asked a few questions from 2 sheets of paper by the store manager, then had a trial shift. It was relatively quick and easy and designed to test your interaction with customers.

Question 1
When was the last time you had to get to know new people?
I was asked a few basic questions by phone and then asked to come in for a laid back face-to-face interview. I was then asked to come back for the shop floor trial with the other interview candidates where we had to perform a series of tasks. It took them 3 weeks to send me a rejection email which I thought was very poor.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Body Shop (Canterbury, England) in Jul 2025
Interview
A 45 minute trial shift where they got you to interact with customers as if you worked there and give a hand and arm massage to a customer to try and sell an item. Very straight forward and they were looking to see if you follow what they ask.
