The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Home Depot in Aug 2008
Interview
Met with the manager one on one and was asked 7 or 8 questions about my experiences in retail environment which I really didn't have. Then I had to do a role play scene that dealt with selling to a particular kind of customer. The whole thing only took about 20 minutes or so, but I had to wait about a month to hear anything which was an offer.

Question 1
One about if I was working on a task and I knew I wasnt going to finish. What would I do
It was a pretty average interview process where I was asked some personality questions. I was also asked how I handled difficult work situations in the past. The person I interviewed with was very nice. It took a couple weeks before I heard back from them with an offer.

It was typical questions in an interview, but also have a response to the average questions for an interviewee on google.
The interview process for the Home Depot location in Key West Florida was very laidback and easy, I ended up receiving an offer on the day of interview which was definitely a big plus.
