I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Atlanta, GA) in Feb 2013
Interview
I received a call from the automated Home Depot HR department. I answered a few questions, I guess to see if I was worth a interview. The call took all of ten minutes, I even spoke to a live person. After that call I received another phone call informing me of my interview time, and date.
The Interview was 2 weeks away. I wore slacks, a dress shirt and tie (business casual) as I had been instructed to do. I arrived 15 minutes prior to my interview time, and checked in with the associate at the front counter. I was surprised that I didn't have to wait so long to be seen. Only about 10 minutes or so.
I interview with one of the Assistant Managers, it was simply and quick. He informed me that the interview was a completely scripted interview and it consisted of six scenario questions. After which he gave me time to ask questions of my own. The interview took about 10 minutes.
Then he escorted me to the employee break room where I was to wait for my second interview with the store manager. The interview with her was a lot easier than the first one. Five scripted questions in a much more comfortable setting. She then told me that they would call me within a week or two with an offer or not I guess. Over all though the process was simply, easy and it seems like I will be hired, or at least I hope.

Question 1
There we're really no hard questions, although one did catch me off guard. They asked what skills from previous employers do I think I will bring with me to Home Depot.
20-minute interview, asked scenario-based questions and experiences with customer service. The interview had a video call component and an in-person interview. The interview had questions about comfort with learning new programs and asked about availability.
it was short and it was simple very quick and they hired me on the spot probably due to needing people and being short staffed, but the staff was nice and polite they did also send me an email before hand to schedule my interview

Question 1
They asked several questions but due to the fact that I was so over qualified...it was 'how soon can you start".
