I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Maryville, TN) in Oct 2014
Interview
Very laid back, not intimidating. Two interviews. One with an ASM and another with the Store Manager. Had to take online assessments about your knowledge of home improvement. Also had to take a drug test. There is a lot of training to do once you are hired, mostly common sense. Not that helpful

Question 1
What previous experience do you have with excellent customer service?
Pretty good. They take care of their people but also they will not tell you if you’re doing a good job, which is why most people don’t. Overall not too bad
Asks just a series of questions concerning experience with electrical applications. Pretty easy. You don't need prior experience because they are willing to teach you everything you need and quite frankly, they need all of the helping hands that they can get.

Question 1
What was one time you had to work with electrical applications?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Toronto, ON) in Nov 2021
Interview
First HR phone interview then Department head interview via video calling. They followed every legal procedure in a very gentle way. Both interview processes took 2 weeks and I was ready to go for work within 3 weeks.
