I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Tillys (Santa Barbara, CA)
Interview
It was a group interview which is common for clothing retail stores. Depending where you sit in the circle, you will have more or less time to prepare an answer that will make you stand out and be memorable to the hiring managers. Near the end of the questions, the managers will have you go out on the sales floor and pick an outfit that you will pitch to them why they should buy it. The key to this and what got me selected was being able to sell them as many units for an outfit as possible.
