I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Tim Hortons (Conception Bay South, NL) in Apr 2015
Interview
I was a storefront employee when I heard of the position of supervisor was available. I applied to my store manager and was soon contacted for an interview. My manager and district manager conducted the interview in store by asking be questions that refrerred to aspects such as leadership and decision making. The interview took about 1 hour after they reviewed the exeptations as a supervisor
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a time when you had to make an important decision
It was easy/ General questions about customer service and how to handle a situation if 2 team members get into an argument and how to deal with irate customers. They ask what you can do to handle these kind of situations. They also ask what are some of your strengths and weaknesses and how they would affect your work.
My interview process I found to be easy and fast, although I did have to wait a little bit for the manager to actually be available. I wasn't hired on the spot, but recieved a call back after a couple days and was hired.
