I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Toptal (Chicago, IL) in May 2025
Interview
Interview took months and months without proactive feedback. Had to constantly ask how the process was going. Interviews were childish and not grounded in the role or in sales excellence. Obvious Toptal is not a serious company. No capabilities or offerings and industry thought leadership is non existent. I learned a lot about Toptal over the 2-3 month interview process. I also spoke to existing employees who advised me to get as far away from this toxic culture as I could.
