I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Transamerica (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2020
Interview
They asked easily about in site interview. When you go there, you will find that the job is not a financial adviser but it is commission based representative. They tell you the process and how you earn. They also tell you about the certificate you should get in a week and their training.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself and your job experience?
Did you like your current job?
Do you like to work for yourself?
Someone reached out to me on LinkedIn and we set up an interview with no application process. One of these commission-based, no-experience-required things. That guy and his mentor talked to me for an hour with a whole presentation, and it ended with an offer to become one of their clients if not an advisor.
Very calm, and easy. They just want to get to know you at first. It isn’t as much as an interview as it is a conversation to see if that want to take the next step

Question 1
Tell me about your background and why you chose to apply to Transamerica
Get an insight of the business, learn about the structure, and compensation potential. It may be for some people but I’m still deciding if it’s for me. It was very reminiscent to a mlm structure so that kind of made me second guess if it was something I wanted to do but it may be for someone.
