Great experience with recruiter, I felt that I aced the interview, I already had the license and tons of experience in the Insurnace industry. The two gentlemen I interviewed with were young, I felt very comfortable speaking with them and ver confident with my responses throughout the interview process. I feel that I was not selected due to my age. I checked all the boxes, bilingual, experience, conversational and to the point on my responses. I event sold myself once again at the end on why I was the perfect candidate for the role. I also sent a thank you letter to the recruiter and one of the interviewer, thanking both of them for their time and opportunity to interview. A few days later I was passed on, received a letter that I was not selected. I even submitted a second application for a much lower entry level position. Because I am determined to work for this company. I again was selected to interview with a recruiter. Again a great first interview, short summary and was asked why I would interview for lesser pay. I told her that Travelers has been a professional goal of mine for many years and that I have been applying for years in end with no interviews. I even told her that all I wanted was my foot in the door and was willing to start where I could to join the company with whom I plan to retire. I again felt confident, I still have not heard back either way.
