I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Travelers (Indianapolis, IN) in Jul 2011
Interview
Interviewed with 3 people at same time and it lasted almost 2 hours. Everyone was very nice and I felt comfortable in the interview. A lot of the interview focused on my past as a claims adjuster and also about what I wanted to do in the future. They were going through some changes so they wanted to make sure I would not be uncomfortable with high stress situations.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interview was behavioral based questions about specific work situations. They would ask questions about how I dealt with a certain situation. They also asked what things I needed to work on and what were some of my strong suits. They wanted to know if I would be ok with getting additional licensing.
Had a phone call interview. Was asked 5-6 questions, Smth about my specific experience mentioned in the resume, tell me about a time you worked in a team, why insurance? and some case specific.
The initial phone interview went great. The interviewer told me to expect a call to schedule the next step with the Claims Team.
They never interviewed me so they closed the door before even meeting although I was more than qualified and deserved the interview.
