      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Travelers

      Interview

The entire process was amazing. The typical application process I’ve experienced has been: you apply, wait, wait some more, and hear back with a go forward or rejection. Sometimes it takes months. This experience was truly unique and solidified my decision to join. I applied, a week or 2 later heard from the recruiter. They advanced me to the interview. The next day I interviewed with hiring manager. The following day or two the recruiter reached out for my schedule over the next week or so and set up 5 more interviews in that short time! This was astounding. I’ve never had such an organized and clear demonstration of organizational communication. I had been promoted multiple times internally at my current company and it always took over a month! The day of my final interview, the recruiter reached out 2 hours after my final interview saying they wanted to offer. I got the offer 2 days after! The interviews themselves were very solid. They were conversational and clear. When you interview, you’re really trying to figure out if you want to work for the team, and you should think of the questions as if you were teammates. They don’t want to dupe you or trip you up. They want to discover if you are a good fit, and see you work through thoughts. It’s ok to ask clarifying questions and I felt very comfortable with all of the interviewers. They also set aside more time than allotted to allow me to “interview” them as the decision is a mutual agreement and crucial to your happiness. Traditional generalities and situational questions as most interviews are. They are again trying to understand your thought process and I felt like we were on the same page. I understood why they were asking. I’m impressed and excited to join the team!
