Typical recruiter screen followed by a 45-minute video call with the hiring manager. I was then asked to prepare a presentation to address an actual problem that the company was currently working on (a big red flag in my books). Came in about a week later and presented to a panel of product and engineering leadership. No feedback, largely ghosted. Received a short call 2 weeks later from the recruiter stating that they "didn't think I had what it takes to be a PM at Trivelta" - something I had done successfully for 5+ years at a competitor. Anyway, I respect their opinion, but not their tactics or lack of courtesy. Given the lack of probing resume questions and follow-up, I suspect I was never really being considered for the role anyway.
