Call screening with someone who’s native language was not my own. He was actually a recruiter. Very nice, but upon further investigation, it was a contract position which was not clear in the job posting.

The interview process was two rounds, 30 minutes each. One with the hiring manager and the next with a few different people who the person would be working with. I made the mistake to let the hiring manager know after the second interview I was pregnant. I was ghosted by him and the recruiter emailed me saying they chose someone else who was “a better fit”, even though we could all agree that my interviews went extremely well. Never again will I disclose to a potential employer that I’m pregnant. It’s extremely sad that we have to worry about not getting employed due to us carrying a child, Even though it’s DISCRIMINATION.
