The recruitment agency was working to fill this position for a client company. It was initially a good process. It went down hill once the client offered me the position. To even start the process with client, U3 kept telling me I had to agree with 5k although I told them I was expecting 5.5k. They said they will put 5k first and then negotiate with the client to meet around 5.2-5.3k. When they came back to me, they said the client was offering 4.9k, below what they told me the client would definitely offer (5k). I was able to get them to increase it slightly to 5.1k but was still below my expected of 5.5k but they insisted they couldnt go higher. When they sent me the offer letter from dbs, they wanted me to sign it by the end of the day (less than 8 hours after sending to me). I have never experienced this kind of rush. I have always had 5 -14 days to look through the contract and decide but they kept insisting I sign and send. There was a clause that was incredibly one-sided (the notice period) The recruitment agents are incredibly unprofessional. They would take pictures and mistakenly send it to me, spamming 4-8 pictures before I asked them what this was and they will delete saying it was a mistake (happened 3 separate occasions). If you do not answer their whatsapp messages within 10 mins, they will spam call you. I had told them I was busy until 4pm due to meetings, between 2pm - 2.20pm, they called me 9 times and only stopped when my colleague brought my phone to the meeting room to tell me to answer and I told them to stop calling me and I will reply when I am free.
