      I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at UPS (Parsippany, NJ) in Sept 2018

      Interview

      Representive if the company give you an hour or so tour of the operations. Shows you what you will exactly be doing and what is expected of you. The representative stopped the tour few times and asked if anyone wanted to leave, your body will take a beating. You are expected to load/unload 300 packages per hour. Expected to work in all type of weather. Only 15min break in a 3.5-5 hour work day. They sell you on free benifits, 401K and stock after a year of employment . It is Union keep in mind bidding and senrioty if you want more hours or change of location or move up in company. $10.35 an hour is what you will be making first year.

      Signed up and got the job. Have to pass a drug and background test. They're constantly looking for bodies, with generally high attrition rate for new hires. The guys that get through the probationary period typically stay a long time, many until retirement.
