I applied in-person. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at US Postal Service in Feb 2019
Interview
I completed an application online. If you haven’t already taken the postal exam that would usually be the next step; they will send you an email to schedule and appointment. You will also receive emails from Geninfo.com , to set up your drug test as well as request info for your background check (so don’t be alarmed ) . Interview super easy, simple

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at US Postal Service in May 2017
Interview

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Reno, NV)
Interview
I actually haven't been interviewed yet. I applied 3/17/2016 and took the online assessment the same day, then immediately after got an email inviting me to schedule a proctored assessment, which I took 3/24. I scored an 86.7 and 3/28 I received emails for drug tests and a background check which I responded to immediately. I took my drug test 3/29 and since then my status hasn't changed from Pre- Hire list, but I haven't received a much anticipated e-mail to do an interview yet. I called GIS and they informed me that both my drug test results and background check results were sent to the post office 3/29. So now I'm just not so patiently waiting.
