Application
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2014
Interview
There isn't much of an interview process. Once you receive a call with a job offer, you are asked to go downtown Chicago to the main site. Once you're there, you will be placed in a small waiting area with literally 100 plus candidates. You are then taken upstairs to a large cafeteria to complete W2 information. Some people are called to one of the lunch tables to have a minor interview with one of the instructors.

Question 1
Have you worked for the post office before?
Do you know anyone who works there? if you do thats a plus, because they tend to hire friends and family of people they know. I had a family member. No complaints on that part.

Easy I just sat down with the post master and we talked for 20 minutes. Not many questions where asked besides why I wanted to work for the post office.
