I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Sacramento, CA) in Feb 2012
Interview
Met with postmaster and supervisor at local Post Office. They asked a series of questions about if I could work fast and would I work everyday. Could I handle being given extra everyday etc. Was told I would have to be dead to call in. Aka don't call in sick while on probation. A few days later got a call from the HR at the postal plant. Went in for final interview, which is the job offer. Fingerprinted and drug tested then wait for results and a few weeks later got an email saying show up for orientation.
