I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ulta Beauty (Spanish Fork, UT) in Oct 2017
Interview
It was an easy process but they took a long time to get back to me because they were a new company and wouldn’t let me put in my two weeks at my other job.
I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Ulta Beauty in Oct 2018
Interview
I had a total of two interviews. One with the General Manager of Ulta in person. It was very relaxed and she was happy I had retail/cosmetics experience. She told me I would have someone reach out to me in the next couple days, because there were 4 others girls also applying for the position. Then a couple days later I received an email inviting me for a phone interview with the District Clinique Manager, which lasted about 45 minutes. I just made sure to have questions ready for her, so I would seem interested and that I truly cared about the potential position.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Ulta Beauty (Milwaukee, WI)
Interview
Went in to ulta one day was approached by the GM right away to apply for the MAC position. First interview was the beginning of June with the GM and assistant manager. Originally applied for MAC but towards the end of the interview they recommended I'd apply for Clinique. Which i was fine with because i believe skincare is a must for flawless make up . After the interview they had told me that the process would be slow just because this was all new and they didn't need anyone till July. Week later i had to take the personalitly test that estee lauder has all their candidates have to take . About 2 weeks after that the clinique rep had contact me about having a chat later in the day . After the 3rd interview i didn't hear back till about a week later from GM . She was very happy to offer me the position .
