      Consumer Insights Interview

      12 Dec 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Baltimore, MD
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Under Armour (Baltimore, MD)

      Interview

The recruiter was pretty responsive however does NOT set the candidate up for success. There were very minimal details and instructions about the presentation (in hindsight I could probably have asked her for more info rather than the minimal amount about what was sent). The presentation was to take some slides given by UA and present them out to the team. From my take, there were definite "mistakes" within the slides...obviously bits and pieces taken from different data sets so all the sample sizes varied. I did not think the objective was to call out all the mistakes, but apparently it was. I assumed it was high level - "tell me how to interpret this". My suggestion would be to ask a million questions upfront and make sure a company that chooses to give you old data to present with obvious errors in it for the interview and asks you questions about the background of the data to trick you (how would you even know if it is not your own project??) is the right fit for you.
