It started with the Assessment, followed by 8 video questions, and then the video interview. The in person final interview I am waiting for. They said I would know in 2-5 business days.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines in Jul 2015
Interview
Upon applying, I was invited to conduct a video interview using Hirevue between 1-3 days later. This was a one-way video that gave you approximately 30 seconds to prepare and three minutes to answer. I believe I was asked 4-6 questions. Another 1-3 days later I was invited to schedule an in-person interview in San Francisco the following week. Upon attending the in-person interview, a group of 8-12 applicants were shown a video and introduced to the flight attendant duties by current flight attendants. Then we were taken one at a time into a separate room with several cubicles where multiple individuals were having interviews. The actual interview process was only 10-15 minutes. Additionally, I was told by other employees that if you're selected you'll be asked to stay later to get additional information and then to participate in a drug test immediately. Although I was not offered a position, a few important things to remember are: arrive early because check-in begins 15 minutes before your interview time, bring letters of recommendation (even though that's not explicitly stated) and answer questions using the STAR method.
