I applied online. I interviewed at United Airlines in Jan 2016
Interview
I applied for the position on Jan. 2nd via the United Airlines website. I received an email on Jan. 4th stating "thank you for your interest, if selected you will be asked to complete an online video interview". Then, on Jan. 5th, I received the invitation to complete the video interview. You are only given 5 days to complete the video interview. I completed it on Jan. 7th (today). The video interview took about 20 minutes. It was the first online video interview I'd ever done. I normally interview well, and don't get nervous or feel unprepared. However, talking to a webcam is much more difficult than you would expect.
There are 6 interview questions total. Each question allows you to study the question for 30 seconds before it starts recording. Then, you have 3-5 minutes to answer each question. You can take as long as you need IN BETWEEN questions, but you cannot repeat/re-record your answer. I suggest doing a dry run and utilizing ALL the "practice questions" which the employer never sees. It helps get the feel for speaking to the webcam. I used my laptop, I suggest NOT using a cell phone. **** I selected "NO - did not receive job offer" since, as of today, I have not received an offer.*****

Question 1
What skills and experience do you have that will be a good match for United Airlines?
I applied online. I interviewed at United Airlines (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
It started with the Assessment, followed by 8 video questions, and then the video interview. The in person final interview I am waiting for. They said I would know in 2-5 business days.
