I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines (Newark, NJ) in Mar 2016
Interview
Everything From The online Application to the phone interview was within three weeks which was actually fast if you ask me. They fly you to the city with their base airport near you and they pay for your flight but you are in charge of your own hotel and food. Plan on spending the whole day (9-4pm) at the interview location, bring your resume and passport of course if you have it. All the questions on Glassdoor are very accurate. Have fun with it, practice them out loud and be open minded. If you practice these questions you will not be stressed out, it honestly helps you feel ready. It's so worthy it and if you are stressed you will miss the fun out of it. The other people with you there are in the same boat too which helps calming your nerves.
I applied online. I interviewed at United Airlines (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
It started with the Assessment, followed by 8 video questions, and then the video interview. The in person final interview I am waiting for. They said I would know in 2-5 business days.
