      Flight Attendant Interview

      17 Mar 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at United Airlines in Mar 2016

      Interview

Applied, got an email for the video interview, and then they asked me to come down for a face to face interview, which was an awful experience as the flight attendant staff on both they way up and down were outrageously rude. When arrived at the airport to leave, our flight was delayed 45 min not due to weather or maintenance issues but because our Flight attendant was over 30 min late! They delayed the flight until she showed up and she wasn't even in a rush she slowly walked the entire way there as if she had no concern for the customers who needed to transition flights after. Then once on the plane you would believe she would be nice and apologetic, but instead she was giving attitude to customers. One women who was confused on what to do with her bag since it did not fit in the over-head bin went to the front while everyone was coming down the women told her she had to sit down with the luggage in her lap until someone could grab her luggage, and she did so except when everyone was on the late flight attendant scolded her that the luggage should of been checked and never brought on the plane and made her carry it herself to the front. Then the two passengers move to two open seats behind them since they wanted to use the more spacious exit door seat the late flight attendant at first just told them to report back to their seats and when the man ask why they couldn't sit in those she said it was an upgrade and if he wanted to pay extra 125 for it he could use it, and then the man went "oh" and started conversing in another conversation with the passenger next to him when the flight attendant stated "yeah, that what I thought", I was shocked and then on the flight back over the announcements the attendant stated at the end "if any of even bothered listening to that". Making me decline the position it was an awful experience and if they are like that in front of customers I hate to see how they talk behind the scenes.

First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening. Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test. Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
