I would like to share feedback on my recent application experience with VIATechnik Inc (PH).
After my initial interview, I was informed by the recruiter that I would be sent an exam as the next step, and if successful, I would proceed to a panel interview. However, despite waiting patiently for nearly two weeks, I received no communication or update. I eventually had to follow up myself, only to be told that my application would not move forward — without ever being given the opportunity to take the exam.
This lack of communication and engagement was disappointing and felt dismissive, especially after I had expressed genuine interest in the role and in learning more about the company. A timely update or even a simple notification would have shown respect for the candidate’s time and effort.
Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling that the process was disengaged and unprofessional. For the sake of future applicants and the company’s reputation, I believe it’s important to ensure clear, consistent, and respectful communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
