I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at VML MAP in Apr 2026
Interview
It literally felt like getting scammed in a process. I interviewed for People ops role and the HR was sweet in the phone call interview that she took, negotiated for my salary and concluded by saying that "she WILL setup my next call with the VP", however came back next morning quoting minus 40% of what I had asked and SHE CONFIRMED as it was under the posted budget range.
The entire process felt like for name sake, work that was being asked to deliver was 10 times more than they want to pay you for and later reject saying cannot match budget while it was UNDER their mentioned salary range posted of website and socials. After this experience, all the 2.9/5 stars that they've earned from their own employee experience seems justifiable.
I had a call with the talent team for the first round where they did a check to see if I was a good fit for the role, and the second round with a marketing director, third round with the team you'll be working with and a case study
Thirty minute video interview with the hiring manager. I was asked for another interview in the second round. The job seemed interesting but I didn't want to go into the office in four times a week.
