2 days after applying I had HR contact me for availability of a Teams interview. No supporting documentation provided to prepare for the interview. And when asked, just received a copy of the job description. Interview was itself was very uncomfortable. It was lead by HR who was friendly and asked most the questions. Couple questions were asked by the Design Director and another senior manager who said literally nothing other than a question. Unfortunately due to their language barrier I was unable to understand the questions asked. When asked for clarification I was not given any support. I can accept I didn’t interview well but I do put the blame on their interview process. I was not made to feel comfortable and I unfortunately drew a blank on a question around KPIs. I will learn from this and be more ready for future interviews. However I would never apply for a role at this company again. If a candidate’s nerves get the better of them. Don’t stare at them blank in silence. There was no interest in my work history or me as a person. Just what was specifically relevant to the role. My experience has a hiring manager would set you up to fail because someone’s potential is far more valuable than just some experience they could potentially lie about.
