Interviewer (COO Tang) was condescending but disguised it as being frank. It shouldn't be surprising given that literally everyone who gave their feedback on glassdoor stated that they had a negative interview experience. If the interviewer is condescending because he finds that my knowledge or responses are insufficient, I can still understand. But no, he comes on questioning my experience and the firms I work for, stating that they are not really what they wish to hire for that job. Dude, didnt you read my resume? Before you interviewed me, shouldnt you have decided whether my work experience was relevant or not, whether the firms I worked for are relevant for you or not? Seems like an utter waste of time to schedule an interview only to tell you that your resume doesnt quite fit into the role. The ironic thing is that when I go for interviews at other companies who are competitors of this firm, they actually claimed my type of experience would be a great demand (for a similar position). This, coupled with other peoples experience mentioned below, led me to think maybe the interviewer just want someone to stroke his ego and tell him what a great company and role that he has and how much we love to add value to him for a meagre pay even when he posed doubts. Actually its not hard to tell. The firm loves to hire multiple interns so he can pay as little as possible for maximum amount of labour. It is not a good place to really grow your career or even have a stable job for experienced professionals.
