Interview
Take home exam right off the bat. It's long and nobody looks at it. They say they'll schedule an interview with you afterwards, but they don't. I was going back and forth with HR person for a month trying to set up an interview time before I found it that they had been dismissed. When they finally did get back to me with a time, HR person never responded and stood me up when we were supposed to chat via telephone. Didn't even have the courtesy of letting me know until a week afterwards. In the end, someone in an unrelated department got into contact with me to schedule the call. That call also never happened. Worst and most unprofessional interview experience ever. You can't ask people to do a ridiculously long test then just forget about them for a month while they're continuing to contact you. And don't even get me started on the disorganized shared github repo situation for the coding challenge. Looks like another guy already made a comment about that, you can read about it there.

Interview
Right off a bat you are given a take home coding assignment. Every other person shares the same repository on github so there was a lot of confusion. After you complete the assignment you are set up with an interview. FYI no one actually looks are your assignment. No feedback or anything. There was no point of doing the assignment since no one is going to look at it anyways. The ppl there was really nice but the assignment was such a waste of time. Doing a flawless job on the assignment will not benefit you at all in the interview.
Hello Software Engineer,
I am really sorry you had a bad interviewing experience! We have just recently overhauled our recruiting process, to make sure this experience is not repeated.
The purpose of the homework is to help evaluate the candidates, and is thoroughly vetted by our Engineering Team. We take your feedback very seriously and are in the works of making sure each candidate gets individual feedback on the assignment that they submitted. Thank you for taking the time to let us know how we can improve - candidate satisfaction is very important to us!
We wish you the best in whats next for you,

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Vulcun (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2015
Interview
First I received an email regarding the position and was then told to have an initial phone interview. That went well and I was scheduled to take an at home written assessment. Questions were difficult and were asked to see how you would confront the situation. I must have answered them somewhat correct, cause then I was asked to come in for an in person interview and met with the customer support team. Everyone was nice and the interview was really seeing how well of a fit you are as a team player. Great entry position for someone looking in a start up company. Overall very efficient with their interview process. I declined the offer due to pay, however I would really enjoy working there if an upper level position was to open.
