I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company in Aug 2022
Interview
The first was the recruiter call, mainly about what they were looking for and what I was expecting. She also briefly explained the interview process. Then I had a 1-hour coding session on HackerRank. It was a simple word count problem and some other improvements. Next, they scheduled three interviews for pair programming, system design, and behavioral. The lead developer was good. He put some effort into creating a project, and he also created a few stories to work on. I refactored the project and then solved those stories. System design and behavioral were as usual. I did well in all these interviews.
Next week the recruiter called and said everything looked good and the team was happy and asked me to join the team's manager for a half-hour call. He spoke about his teams half of the time and asked me a couple of behavioral questions. After that, I didn't get a response back. Unfortunately, they couldn't send an email to let me know their decision after all the effort I put into going through several rounds of interviews.
Other reviewers are correct. Not letting me know of the outcome is unprofessional. The only reason I was interested in trying here was because of their tech stack.
