Application
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company (Orlando, FL) in Nov 2014
Interview
I applied online first on their website. I then had a phone interview with someone from the finance committee. It was followed up with a skype interview with a Finance Manager. She asked me questions about my experience followed by a couple questions about Disney and their company. A week or so later they offered me the position.
Very friendly and not at all what I expected. There are recruiters who are the ones that get your resume on the hiring manager’s desk if your initial screening goes well.

Interview
The interview was conducted on the phone. The interviewer was enthusiastic and has a positive attitude. The phone screen basically asks behavioral questions. After phone screen, a hiring manager will reach out to you for an interview.

Interview
In the early phases of the application process there is very little communication for long stretches at a time. If you are selected for phone interview (preliminary screening) you will talk to someone from Human Resources, not the team with which you will be working. If you are selected for to go farther they will offer an in-person interview or a video-chat interview. Disney has the pick of the litter, so they can afford to make you wait and be selective.
