I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Wayfair (Boston, MA) in May 2018
Interview
Really nice people there.
Contacted by a recruiter and had a phone screen interview first. The interview involved SQL queries, I found it strange as that's the first company ever asked me that.
Next, they flew me to Boston for an on-site interview. The interview was a mix of technical (system design mostly) questions, management & behavior questions, things you would expect at that level.
Looks like they are very strict choosing their tools and stack and not much room for adopting new trends or learning new methods.
I declined due to having better offers.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
write SQL query
some leetcode-medium/hard questions
typical system design qeustion
The interview process was so well put together. The experience described was exactly what I experienced. Well described and executed. This allowed me to prepare in the most effective way.
Case interviews, many rounds, very data driven. The rounds of feedback and hiring manager role in hiring were vague. Process lingered for weeks followed by recruiter call sharing internal candidate hire.

Question 1
Most challenging managerial scenarios and remediation
Simple three step process. HR, technical and final. It was a smooth process. HR person and Technical managers were very knowledgeable. The whole process took 3 weeks. There were e commerce related questions in technical round.
