I applied online and the recruiter got back with me quickly. We scheduled the first screen and it went fine. I actually enjoyed our conversation. I was told to do a take home project, which I spent some of my weekend doing. I submitted the take home first thing the next week and the recruiter initially responded with setting up a interview for later that week. A day later I was told the position was cancelled, the interview was cancelled and they would save my resume when the position opened again.
