      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Weber Shandwick (Seattle, WA)

      Interview

I was contacted through LinkedIn by a recruiter from Chicago about a position in Seattle. The recruiter did an initial interview about my experience as it related to the new clients Weber Shandwick had won. It was a straight forward interview and the recruiter asked for my availability to interview in person. I was scheduled to meet with three staff members in separate meetings during the in-person interview process. One didn't show up and one had only been with the firm for a few weeks. It was very quiet while doing laps around the office and most staff had headphones on. The team member who had only been there for a few weeks told me the thing that was most surprising about the office was how many internal meetings there were. I did not follow up about the position.

      Interview

Very easy and swift. Knew what to expect and what was next. I didn't get the role but really appreciate the process and learning about the company. The employees all seemed to be on the same page and had the same vision, which is so important. The recruiter was thorough and really appreciate the constructive criticism she gave.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Weber Shandwick (New York, NY)

      Interview

Straightforward process--a recruiter contacted me, I expressed interest, and she set me up to meet with four folks from the relevant practice group I'd be hypothetically joining. The interviews were one-on-one and generally quite enjoyable; everyone I spoke with was enthusiastic, did a great job of selling the company as a desirable employer, and it felt like a real conversation (not a bland back-and-forth Q&A). After, I was advanced to the next round (the writing test); they give you the test and you have 24 hours to turn it around. It was reasonably challenging--you had to do some background research and put real thought into it--but nothing unbearably hard. From being contacted by the recruiter to submitting the writing test, the whole process took about 3 weeks. Where the whole process fell apart is that after I sent in my writing test and the recruiter confirmed receipt of it, I never heard back from them again. At all. It's been over a month and just complete radio silence (despite two very polite follow-up emails to the recruiter). At this point, I've assumed they don't want to move forward with my candidacy, which is fine. But the very least they could do is share that information--it strikes me as the bare minimum of professionalism.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Weber Shandwick (Minneapolis, MN) in Oct 2014

      Interview

After an initial phone interview with the regional HR manager, I came in for an interview with 4 people. A few days after my in-person interview, I participated in a follow-up phone interview specifically related to the client I'd be working on.
