I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Whole Foods Market (New York, NY)
Interview
Submitted an application for the cashier position. Received a call 3 weeks later to schedule a group interview for later that week.
Showed up on time for said interview. Including me there were 13 interviewees. We were taken to a back room. We were asked three questions: "tell us about yourself," "name your favorite food/food activity," "why do you want to work for Wholefoods?" Told them about me, my favorite food and food activity (you could choose one though.) As for why I want to work there I mentioned core values (which I recommend you mention at least once throughout the interview), it seemed to impress the manager (who did stop by during the group interview).
Next we did a couple of group exercises which consisted of us making commercials/presentations on positive/negative experiences working in customer service and our favorite Wholefoods core value(s). At the end general Q&A (interviewees asked ATL,TL questions about the job). Overall easy going and fun experience. Nothing serious.
Overall it lasted about 2 hours. Said they'd call us next week.
Surprisingly I got called back next week for a second interview that following week . I was stoked.
Now this interview was serious. One on one. I was asked 4 questions. Describe my personality, why should WFs hire me, how would I handle an irate customer, and bonus...did anyone at my previous job practice favoritism with me (not exactly how she said it, but that's what she meant.)
I'll admit I was so unprepared for this interview. I did practice for questions, but none of the ones I practiced for were asked!
At the end she said she would let me know on Friday, if not "definitely Monday." Never heard from her. Didn't bother calling back either.

Question 1
Did anyone at my previous job practice favoritism with me.
Very simple, basic questions and received the job the next day. They asked me questions regarding company culture and my previous experience working with customer facing positions. I had two people interviewing me.
Very kind interviewer, short interview process with only one interview required. I was hired very quickly which was nice. I interviewer with the manager who was very welcoming and gave me the chance to ask any questions I had about the company as well.

Interview
Very short and straight to the point. Friendly people doing the interviews. Felt great and didn’t get nervous. They tell you the expectations on the spot to see if it’s actually something you’d like to continue with.
