      Senior Front End Developer Interview

      26 Oct 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Wolters Kluwer (New York, NY) in Aug 2020

      Interview

An external recruiter from Mondo reached out and submitted me. The usual round 1, 30m HR screening occurred 4d later. Round 2 was talking with Lead UX Engineers who asked about 20 questions while in CodePen to see me code in real time off the top of my head without reference. All answers were good except the first about the button element whose type attribute I didn't have memorized which killed the whole interview. That's very inaccurate poor way to access my talent so I am glad they ghosted me afterwards.

      Question 1

How to render a button on screen? Don't use reference.
